IT'S A GOD THING
It’s A God Thing! ✨
Ephesians 2:10
"For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
Life is full of choices. Every day, we decide what path to take—our way or God’s way. But when we embrace God’s plan, we step into something greater than ourselves. It’s not just a “good thing”—it’s a God thing!
God’s Perfect Timing
At the right time, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to fulfill a mission of redemption. His work wasn’t just about following rules—it was about fulfilling God’s law and setting us free. Because of His sacrifice, we are justified and no longer bound by death! What a gift!
When we accept Christ, we receive a new mind, no longer controlled by the flesh. A mind ruled by the flesh leads to destruction, but a mind led by the Spirit brings life and peace.
Saying “Yes” to God
Jesus was tempted just like us, but He said NO to sin and YES to God. He chose obedience over comfort, and because of that, we are redeemed! But let’s be honest—how often do we do the opposite? How often do we say NO to God and YES to our own desires?
If we truly want to walk in God’s will, we must:

If we truly want to walk in God’s will, we must:
- Crucify our self-will
- Serve God with a grateful heart
- Stop murmuring and complaining
- Accept that our calling is a God thing—not just a good thing!
God Can Use Every Situation
Even when life seems unfair, God is still at work. Remember Joseph? He went from the pit to the palace because God had a greater plan!
Romans 8:30 reminds us that those God predestined, He also called, justified, and glorified. That means you are not here by accident! God has called you to be part of His good work
So what should we do?
- Come when He calls.
- Go where He sends us
- Do what He says without hesitation!
Follow God Boldly
Walking in God’s will isn’t always easy. It takes courage to obey Him regardless of the consequences. But when you align with His plan, you make an eternal impact.
- Your family matters to God.
- Your community matters to God.
- Your obedience matters to God.
He is always working behind the scenes. He has placed you exactly where you are for a reason and a season. Don’t trade His plan for your own. A “good plan” isn’t always a God plan.
Know God’s Plan—And Follow It!
Take time to seek Him. Ask Him to reveal His assignment for your life. When you do, you’ll find yourself walking in divine purpose, impacting lives, and bringing glory to His name.
Remember, it’s not just a good thing—it’s a God thing!
