He’s There, Wherever I Am
Hello family, and welcome to another episode of Live With Dorothy!
I’m so glad you’re
here today. I believe the Lord has a word just for you — a reminder that will strengthen
your heart, especially if you I've been feeling overlooked, forgotten, or overwhelmed.
Today’s encouragement is titled:
“He’s There, Wherever I Am.”
Scriptures:
I’m so glad you’re
here today. I believe the Lord has a word just for you — a reminder that will strengthen
your heart, especially if you I've been feeling overlooked, forgotten, or overwhelmed.
Today’s encouragement is titled:
“He’s There, Wherever I Am.”
Scriptures:
- Job 34:21 — “For His eyes are upon the ways of man, and He seeth all his goings.”
- Psalm 139:7 — “Where can I go from Your Spirit? Where can I flee from Your presence?”
- Proverbs 15:3 — “The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.”
Now let’s sit with that for a moment.
Where can I go that God won’t be?
Where can I hide that He won’t see me?
Where can I run that His arms won’t reach?
The answer is: Nowhere.
Teach – Begin gently building the message
We serve an omnipresent God — meaning He is everywhere at the same time. His eyes are
on you right now. Not to judge or condemn — but to keep watch over you, to protect, lead,
and guide you.
Sometimes life will try to convince us we’re all alone.
The pain gets loud. The silence grows heavy.
The doors shut in our face.
And fear starts to whisper, “Nobody sees you. Nobody cares.”
But here’s what the Word says:
“Even the darkness will not be dark to You.” (Psalm 139:12)
Even when we can’t trace God, we can trust that He’s there.
Life Application– Invite personal reflection
Here’s the truth I want you to walk away with today: God’s Presence Cancels Panic.
When you know God is right there — in the kitchen, the hospital room, the courtroom, the
job, in your car — you don’t have to panic. You don’t have to run. You don’t have to crumble.
Because wherever you are, God is already there — making a way, even if you don’t see it yet.
Let this be your daily declaration: If God is here, I don’t have to be afraid.
Current Events Illustration – Personalize tone
Not long ago, during the terrible flooding in parts of the South and East Coast, we heard
many heartbreaking stories.
But one stood out to me.
A woman had been stranded on her rooftop for 14 hours. The flood had taken her home, her
car, and her neighborhood. But when the news reporter interviewed her and asked how she
kept her peace through it all — she said:
“I just kept praying. I felt like God was right there with me. That’s what gave me peace.”
Now that, family… is faith.
That’s Psalm 139 in action.
Even in the flood, God was still present. Even when help hadn’t come yet, God had already
shown up.
Encouragement Nugget – Lift spirits
I want to speak this over your life today:
There is no place too hidden, too dark, or too distant where God cannot reach you.
His eyes are everywhere. His hands are never too short.
His heart is always tuned to your cry.
So why should you fear what may come?
Why should you lose sleep about tomorrow?
I don’t know what you’re facing —
But I do know this: "But God..."
When I was weak — But God gave me strength.
When I was afraid — But God gave me courage.
When I felt lost — But God found me.
He is my rock, my refuge, my provider, and my protector.
Beloved, be encouraged:
You are not alone.
You are not forgotten.
You are not out of God’s reach.
So today, lift your head. Take a deep breath.
And walk like someone who knows:
God is with me — and because He is, everything will be alright.
